Family Advocacy Treatment Manager- LCSW Okinawa, Japan
The position is for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to practice as a Family Advocacy Treatment Manager in Kadena AFB, Japan.
The LCSW provides care to Active Duty Service members their families and retirees, who are eligible beneficiaries of the military health care system.
Focuses on the assessment and treatment of child abuse and neglect and partner abuse cases.
Must have experience in direct and collaborative work in community organization with professionals and agencies that provide community support and counseling intervention services to children and families.
Must be self-driven to learn and demonstrate a working knowledge of other computer program and web applications for the performance of duties and requirements.
Will work in a military environment with broad and complex systems and will function as a subject matter expert in domestic violence and child maltreatment.
Should have a professional presence and demonstrate knowledge of protocol in the implementation of professional responsibilities with military and corporate leaders.
NOTES: Employer will assist with relocation costs

Requirements:

Must have a Master’s of Social Work (MSW) degree from a school accredited by the CSWE and be currently Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from a U.S. jurisdiction; will need to produce degree upon request
Will need to know all states in which licensed
This license will be used to authorize independent social work practice and the social worker will be privileged in the medical treating facility.
Minimum of two years of full-time post-masters degree(within the last three years) working with children, families and groups in a clinical or community organization setting; experience as a program manager; or with demonstrated responsibilities in program planning with implementation of education and intervention services, and community collaboration.
Must have knowledge of both clinical methods and community organization; knowledge must include systems theory, and with the ability to translate clinical knowledge into community application.
Will need to have current BLS certificate
