- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services or related field. Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the field of treating Adults with Developmental Disabilities
- 5+ years of supervisory/management experience in the field of treating Adults with Developmental Disabilities
- Demonstrated understanding of applicable state and federal regulations


Job Description:
Reporting to our Senior Vice President, Developmental Disabilities and Home Care Services, your main goal will be to enhance the quality of life for all of our individuals by ensuring that Program Staff Members adhere to our mission, core values, and applicable state and federal standards. You will supervise: the Program Director of ICF Residential Service, Coordinator of Day Habilitation Services and MSC Supervisor.
                               
Among your responsibilities, you will:
- Direct and motivate your team.
- Interpret changes and revisions of all applicable regulatory standards as they occur.
- Revise and update the Divisional Policy and Procedures Manual, as needed.
- Develop and revise administrative program guidelines, as needed.
- Manage budgets for all DD programs.
- Monitor ongoing expenditures, resource allocation and utilization.
- Consult with Senior Director, DD Services concerning clinical and personnel issues.
- Participate in Union matters, such as grievance procedures.
- Coordinate and participate in informational forums and affiliate organizations
- Participate in the new development process (physical plant and programmatic) until its completion (including the pre-opening certification).
- Participate in agency-wide committees, as assigned.
- Participate in recruitment and hiring of the division¡¯s direct care, supervisory and middle management personnel.
- Co-Chair quarterly DD management meetings.
- Prepare performance appraisals on relevant divisional personnel
- Attend all senior and expanded management meetings.
- Monitor the reviews and responses to referrals of individuals, and requests for services.
- Monitor the updating and maintenance of the waiting list for individuals.
- Screen and interview prospective individuals to determine appropriate placement.
- Monitor follow-up with families who have individuals on the waiting list.
- Provide service delivery information to interested individuals at events such as Family Support Fairs.
- Assist families and individuals with completing paperwork required to qualify for services (for example,DDP1,2,4).
- Serve as liaison among Borough DDSOs in relation to individual placements and vacancies.

While Services for the UnderServed is committed to a high quality of life for all of our managers and staff members, you will need to be available by beeper and cell-phone, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
