ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide on-site case management and counseling to DYFS families experiencing domestic abuse, in DYFS District Offices in Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren counties.
Establish relationships with DYFS staff to better meet clients’ needs.
Maintain familiarity with community resources.
Maintain up-to-date client files and documentation and report monthly statistics on all activities.
Serve as a contributing staff member and support all agency initiatives. One day per week will be in the Safe Horizons office.
Participate in community organizations relating to domestic violence.
